Tour Plan :
Depart Fes in the morning and journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains, with stops in Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland,” and Azrou, famous for its cedar forests and wild monkeys. Continue through the Ziz Valley, admiring its vast palm groves. Arrive in Merzouga by late afternoon, where you’ll settle into a desert hotel and enjoy a delicious dinner.
After breakfast, explore the village of Merzouga and visit Khamlia, known for its Gnawa music. In the afternoon, embark on a camel trek across the dunes of Erg Chebbi, witnessing the magical colors of the desert sunset. Arrive at a Berber camp, where you’ll enjoy traditional music, a hearty dinner, and a night under the stars in a comfortable desert tent.
Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, ride camels back to Merzouga and begin your journey to the dramatic Todra Gorge, a favorite destination for climbers and nature enthusiasts. Stroll through the towering rock walls before continuing to the stunning Dades Valley, known for its unique rock formations and lush greenery. Overnight in a charming riad or hotel in the valley.
After breakfast, travel through the Rose Valley, renowned for its fragrant rose products, and pass through traditional Berber villages. Enjoy scenic stops along the way before retracing your route back to Fes, where your tour concludes with a drop-off at your accommodation.
