7 Day Morocco Itinerary:
The Moroccan capital, Rabat, is where your tour begins. Two of the city’s most significant attractions, the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, will be shown to you in the morning by your guide. The Kasbah of the Udayas, a historic fortress with lovely gardens and views of the Atlantic Ocean, will be your next destination.
In the afternoon, you will explore the Chellah, an ancient Roman and Islamic archeological site inside Rabat, and take a look at the Royal Palace from the outside.
You will be driven to your Rabat hotel for dinner and an overnight stay after a full day of sightseeing.
Overnight: Rabat
After breakfast at your riad, we head north towards Chefchaouen, the famous Blue City of Morocco. The drive takes around 4 hours through the Rif Mountains.
Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and have free time to explore the medina on your own. You can walk through the blue streets, visit the local souks, and try Moroccan food at one of the cafes in the main square.

After breakfast, you leave Chefchaouen and drive through the Rif villages towards Volubilis. This is one of the best-preserved Roman archaeological sites in Morocco. You will walk through the ruins, see the ancient mosaics, and learn about the history of this old Roman city.
After Volubilis, we head to Meknes for a visit to the Bab el Mansour gate and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. You will have lunch here before continuing to Fes.
By evening, you will arrive in Fes and check into your riad.

Today is a full day in Fes with a local guide. You will start by visiting the Royal Palace gate, then head into the famous Fes Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
During the day, you will visit:
- Al-Qarawiyyin University: one of the oldest universities in the world
- Al-Attarine Madrasa: known for its beautiful Islamic architecture
- Chouara Tanneries: where leather is still dyed the traditional way
- Nejjarine Fountain: a well-known example of Moroccan craftsmanship
- The Mellah: the old Jewish quarter of Fes
You will also visit an old hilltop fortress to get a panoramic view over the entire medina before returning to your riad in the evening.
You departed south after breakfast to the Sahara Desert. Along the road, you will visit Ifrane, a small and clean town in the mountains. Then you are going to drive through a cedar forest in the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you can observe wild Barbary macaque monkeys.
You are going to visit Merzouga in the afternoon after lunch in a local restaurant, then go through the Ziz Valley, which is a long strip of palm oases.
Here, your camel trek begins. You will be riding over the dunes of the Erg Chebbi as the sun goes down and reach your luxury desert camp at night. Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, you leave the camp by camel or 4×4 and meet your driver.
Along the road, you can visit the traditional market at Rissani in case it is a market day (Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday). Then you will pass through the Todra Gorge, which is great, the sides of the canyons are more than 300 meters high on either side.
As you proceed to the west, you will go through the Dades Valley and have an experience of the rock formations before reaching your hotel in Dades Gorge and spend the night there.

On the final day of this 7-day Morocco itinerary, you will be traveling towards Ouarzazate, referred to as the Hollywood of Africa. You will be able to visit the Atlas Studios, the biggest movie studio in the world, where such well-known movies as Gladiator and Game of Thrones were shot.
Next in line after the studios will be the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and one of the most frequented kasbahs in Morocco.
Later in the day, at lunch time, you will cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka pass and reach Marrakech in the afternoon, which will be the end of your 7 days itinerary in Morocco.
