Tour Plan :

Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga

Depart from Fes in the morning and travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop at Ifrane, often called “the Switzerland of Morocco,” and continue through the cedar forests of Azrou. After lunch in Midelt, drive through the Ziz Valley, known for its lush palm groves. Arrive in Merzouga, where you’ll meet your camel caravan for a trek into the Sahara Desert. Enjoy a traditional dinner and spend the night in a Berber camp under the starry sky.

Day 2: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge

Wake up early to witness a spectacular sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return by camel to Merzouga and continue your journey to Rissani, a historic trading town. Visit its lively souk before heading to the dramatic Todra Gorge, a canyon with towering red cliffs. Enjoy a scenic walk along the gorge and check into your hotel in the area for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Todra Gorge – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate

After breakfast, travel through the Dades Valley, also known as the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs. Marvel at the unique rock formations and lush oases. Stop for lunch along the way before arriving in Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara and a hub for Moroccan film production. Visit the Kasbah Taourirt and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Ouarzazate.

 

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech

In the morning, visit Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Morocco’s most famous Kasbahs. Explore the well-preserved fortress, which has been featured in many films. Continue your journey through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon and check into your accommodation. Enjoy free time to relax or explore the city on your own.

Day 5: Marrakech – Exploring the City

Spend the day exploring Marrakech with a guided tour. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, and the vibrant souks of the medina. Stroll through the tranquil Majorelle Garden and learn about Berber culture at the Berber Museum. End the day at Djemaa el-Fna square, where you can enjoy street performances and traditional Moroccan cuisine.

Day 6: Marrakech – Fes

After breakfast, depart Marrakech and return to Fes via a scenic drive. Stop along the way for lunch and to take in the beautiful landscapes. Arrive in Fes in the late afternoon, marking the end of your adventure.
