Tour Plan :
Depart Fes in the morning and drive through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known for its European-style architecture, and continue to the cedar forests of Azrou, where you can see Barbary macaques. Pass through Midelt, a town nestled between mountains, and descend into the lush Ziz Valley with its palm-lined oasis. Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon, where you’ll be welcomed with mint tea at a desert kasbah. Overnight in a hotel near the dunes.
Start your day with breakfast and free time to explore Merzouga. In the afternoon, embark on a camel trekking adventure through the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, guided by experienced Berber camel handlers. Arrive at your desert camp, where you’ll enjoy a traditional dinner, Berber music, and a night under the starry Sahara sky. Experience the serenity and beauty of the vast desert. Overnight in a comfortable desert tent.
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, a truly magical experience. After breakfast, ride camels back to Merzouga and begin your return journey to Fes. Retrace your route through the Ziz Valley, enjoy lunch in Midelt, and arrive in Fes by the evening, where your tour concludes with a drop-off at your accommodation.
